This database includes high-frequency sensor data from research by Stuart Jones, Chris Solomon, and colleagues on the MFE project beginning around 2010. The research focuses on lake ecosystems in the north-central United States, particularly at and near the UNDERC field station in northern Wisconsin and the upper peninsula of Michigan but also in Indiana and some other locations.
This dataset includes high-frequency sensor measurements of lake temperature profiles, dissolved oxygen concentrations, nearby meteorological conditions, and derived estimates of ecosystem metabolism.
The complete database is available for download as a SQLite database file. The database structure is described in more detail in README.docx and in the database schema.
